It has these active ingredients in it. It has 5% niacinamide and 1% tranexamic acid which are going to help not only with hyperpigmentation, but that 5% niacinamide is going to help fortify your skin barrier. Because of the actives, I would actually just use this once in the morning on days that I plan to stay indoors and don't really need to reapply sunscreen.
