The product recommendations and creator quotes on this site come from what beauty creators actually said in their videos — not from which retailers pay a commission. We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or alter a product or quote.
Some products on this site carry a GrailPeople rating out of 5, shown as grailpeople_rating in our API and MCP connector. GrailPeople-derived, not creator-issued. Creators do not rate products for GrailPeople and do not see or approve these numbers. Each rating is generated by a language model reading that creator's own on-camera quotes about that product and scoring the strength of their enthusiasm against a published rubric. It measures how positively someone spoke, not product quality, and not the creator's endorsement of GrailPeople.
Alongside each rating we show a rating count — the number of distinct creators who gave a verdict on that product. A count of 1 is one person's read, not a consensus. Appearing on GrailPeople, or carrying a high rating here, does not mean a creator endorses GrailPeople or the product.
