Brow Product

brow pencil · matte · $25.00 · makeupbymario.com, Sephora UK
I'm going to use the Master Blade brow pencil. This is in the shade classic brunette.▶ 0:46–0:50
Go quite natural with the brows, which I'll show you.▶ 0:50–0:53
I always keep this area here very very natural because I want to see all the hairs and even I want to see even a little skin through there.▶ 0:53–0:59
I'm going to be using very gentle pressure. So I'm not putting too much pressure because again I want it to look as natural as possible.▶ 1:08–1:11
Once you do the brows and the brows come out really nice. It can also help to dictate the rest of the makeup.▶ 1:13–1:18
I'm going to now extend the brow a little bit outside of her natural brow. And that's going to give just that little bit of lift.▶ 1:21–1:27
The darkest area is the one that you want to be the most lifted. So I'm going to put the most amount of product right here at the highest point and then at the tail. And that's going to sort of give that nice lift.▶ 1:35–1:39

This concealer is actually quite pigmented, but the key is just to not use a lot of it.▶ 8:17–8:20
If you're going for very natural makeup, too, it's self-setting, so this will sort of dry and self set so that you know it doesn't stay oily.▶ 8:21–8:25
Key is to use it very thin. You don't want to go with any thick concealer by the lashes because you want to allow yourself the room to spread it.▶ 8:31–8:35
The makeup that I do tends to last like long time because we're building it in these light layers.▶ 9:10–9:15
I'm going to take now same combination of the concealer. Just a little bit here and let that sit before I blend it in so it grips nice.▶ 9:24–9:28

LIP

This is the shade smoky pink. It's one of my favorite like more cool tone, neutral tones.▶ 14:35–14:42
She has a beautifully proportioned lip, so I don't need to really overline that much, but I am going to just a tiny bit over here on the top on the cupid's bow. And this is my lip lift technique.▶ 14:42–14:47
The more layers that you apply over and over, the more sort of pouty it will look sort of the thicker the texture is there.▶ 15:11–15:18
Another way that you can do it too is by like sort of softly blending it after you line it. You can sort of blur the edges a bit and that also looks quite nice.▶ 15:20–15:23

EYES

I'm definitely going to start with this one, the original one.▶ 3:21–3:24
I'm going to take the E3. It's one of my favorites.▶ 3:34–3:38
I'm just going to sweep it onto the lid.▶ 3:29–3:33
Because now I've defined her eye with liner, she really doesn't need that much eyeshadow.▶ 3:31–3:34
I'm going to go just with a softly sculpted lid.▶ 3:41–3:45
Definitely focusing on pulling up and out. As I'm going out, I want to soften it. Make sure it's not as dark towards the outers.▶ 3:43–3:47
My whole thing is I definitely like to work in light, thin layers for all of the face, including the eyes, because it's just much easier that way.▶ 3:52–3:56

TOOLS

I'm going to start with the neutral light, which is shade number two, and the soft blur setting powder.▶ 10:04–10:10
Before I do any sculpting or bronzer, I like to powder first. So, I'm going to just do first a sort of light dusting before I press anything.▶ 10:12–10:16
For under the eyes, I'm going to take flip the brush and use the smaller side. And I'm going to use the shade number one, which is the fair pink. And this one's going to just give a tiny bit of brightening and setting.▶ 10:18–10:24
I've put it on my puff now. And then I'm going to start to press in the areas that I know that I'm going to be applying the sculpting products.▶ 10:34–10:38
I basically kind of develop the enhancer and the cream blushes itself to be applied over powder because it will give you the most natural finish in the end.▶ 10:41–10:44

I'm going to use the Soft Sculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer in light medium.▶ 11:59–12:04
The product really goes exactly where you want it to. It's not going to slide or move around, which I don't like as a makeup artist.▶ 12:12–12:19
I like to pat the product in and I like it to stay exactly where I put it.▶ 12:19–12:23
The powder that's underneath is grabbing it and making it appear more natural.▶ 12:23–12:27
I like to flip it with the clean side and just brush right over. And just starting with a little bit.▶ 12:29–12:34
I also like to use powder bronzer after. So I want to leave space and leave enough room to apply the powder bronzer without it getting too dark or muddy.▶ 12:34–12:40

I'm going to take the U F4 brush. I'm going to take the smaller side. I like to apply with the small side and blend with the large side. This is how I like to apply it. Almost like buffing.
Start by the nose area, center of the face. And then as I go out and up, I spread it very thin.
I don't like to have any thick foundation around the perimeter of the face because a lot of people, I think, will put the same amount of foundation across the entire face when you don't really need to do that.▶ 5:43–5:46
I barely used it because I'm really stretching it out thin.▶ 6:45–6:51
I usually like to mix shades. 220. This one is 240. And then my favorite 320. You can see how that has more peach in it. So it's like a little bit more of a correcting shade.▶ 7:42–7:49
Gives you a nice neutral. We are going in again very light thin layer and building if necessary. You don't want to go in with a very thick layer.

This is a beautiful brown. It's called the perfect brown. It's a perfect earthy brown.▶ 2:09–2:14
I always start with lining on the inside of the eye. So the inner rim tight lining.▶ 2:06–2:09
This will also help to make the lashes look thicker.▶ 2:30–2:34
I'm flipping the pencil over now, and I'm going to just use that brush just to blend in the outer corners.▶ 2:47–2:52
I'm just blending this into the lid. I'm going to go right into that corner there. I like to apply a little bit more into this corner because it really shapes the eye beautifully.▶ 2:49–2:58
Now that we've done this liner, this also helps you to sort of not use as much eyeshadows because you're getting the definition now step by step.▶ 3:03–3:08
