  1. @drdrayzday reviewing Global Beauty Care Smooth & Lift Serum at 03:20 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • These help to improve water content skin's outermost layer2:29
    • But what it does do is improve wrinkles uh in the armpit area. Probably by hydration. It's it's really good at doing that3:20
    • I think it's a great ingredient. I wouldn't go out of my way to source it and pay top dollar for it. But you can get it here for a dollar 253:35
  2. @drdrayzday reviewing Global Beauty Care Smooth & Lift Collagen Skin Cream at 03:50 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Yeah, you want something to really reduce transepidermal water loss? You have it here3:46
    • And these are fragrance-free3:50
  3. @drdrayzday reviewing Global Beauty Care Smooth & Lift Collagen Cleanser at 03:59 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Ingredients can still do something for you in a cleanser. Coacervates, that's the name of that game3:59
  4. @drdrayzday reviewing Spathecary Vanilla Cream Shave Oil at 04:10 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Pretty excited about that because I really like shave oils4:10
  5. @drdrayzday reviewing Spathecary Post Shave Serum at 04:20 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • We also have though, check this out, a shave serum with AHAs to prevent irritation4:11
    • I would not put this on and then shave on over it4:20
    • It's going to hydrate. It'll gently exfoliate, too. Might be too much cuz you you have to remember when you shave, you mechanically exfoliate4:29
    • Those three things together could just tip you over the edge for razor burn4:50
    • I would say just pick one if you find that you benefit in your shave routine from a little AHA introduced strategically, pick one. I wouldn't go with all three, though5:10
  6. no still
    • They've got, of course, mechanical exfoliant, and then they've got post-shave leave-on exfoliant, and then they've got an in-shower exfoliant. Plus, you're mechanically exfoliating. Those three things together could just tip you over the edge for razor burn
    • I would say just pick one if you find that you benefit in your shave routine from a little AHA introduced strategically, pick one. I wouldn't go with all three, though
  7. @drdrayzday reviewing Global Beauty Care Super Berry Glow Boosting Clay Mask with Kojic Acid at 05:49 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • So, kojic acid targets hyperpigmentation by chelating copper, which is necessary for the enzyme tyrosinase to go bonkers and make unwanted pigment5:21
    • So, those of you have oily skin, the kaolin in this can help absorb some extra sebum from the surface of the skin5:49
    • We got niacinamide, okay. Niacinamide dances on in the pigment pathway in a slightly different mechanism. So, you're getting a two-hitter there6:14
    • Plus, for those of you who are oily, you got you got the clay in there6:31
  8. @drdrayzday reviewing Global Beauty Care Glowing Vitamin C Serum at 06:49 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • So, this has ascorbic acid. That's not a lotty dotty derivative6:46
    • Some people pay big bucks for vitamin C serum that doesn't even have ascorbic acid in it. It has one of those lesser forms, which fine, you know, they may help with pigmentation, but they're not going to do the collagen boosting thing that you guys are hoping for. This looks promising6:49
  9. @drdrayzday reviewing Global Beauty Care Super Berry Hydrating Jelly Cream at 07:37 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • The hydrating jelly cream mulberry fruit, which is also good for hyperpigmentation7:08
    • This one's scented
    • Although, the fragrance can cause irritation for some people. It's a common allergen in skin care7:37
  10. @drdrayzday reviewing Orchid Smoothing Body Polish at 08:01 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This looks like a body wash actually that you massage on in a circular fashion and then rinse off7:52
    • It's got sodium laureth sulfate, so that's a detergent. I'm guessing this is for cleansing purposes8:01
  11. @drdrayzday reviewing Orchid Hydrating Jelly Cleanser at 08:21 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Probably not too strikingly different as far as performance between these two unless this got this has some kind of mechanical exfoliant in it that I'm not aware of8:10
    • I'm not really sure though that that's a great deal honestly8:21
  12. @drdrayzday reviewing Global Beauty Care Hydrating Double Serum at 08:47 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • It's called double because it looks like it has an oil and an aqueous phase and then, you know, maybe you shake it up a bit to get them to come together8:39
    • These have become increasingly popular8:47
  13. @drdrayzday reviewing Spathecary Coastal Capri Hair & Body Mist at 08:55 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Um I mean, same holds true with this as any other fragrance. It's, you know, if you're allergic, it's going to cause problems8:55
  14. @drdrayzday reviewing B Pure Hair Shimmer Spray Infused with Keratin at 09:04 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • It looks like it'll help cut down on frizz and breakage9:04
  15. @drdrayzday reviewing River & Rowe Honey Drip Body Milk at 09:15 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is a ceramide containing body milk aka like probably a lightweight lotion, okay?9:11
    • I personally don't think that's a great value. That's a small bottle for $1.25 in my opinion of scented body lotion9:15
  16. @drdrayzday reviewing Pro Silk 24hr Moisturizing Body Lotion at 09:34 in a YouTube Shorts video
Body Daily Moisturizing Lotionshade · Blush Prosecco
    • Speaking of which, they have EOS body lotion dupes here this time in the blush prosecco9:24
    • I don't like EOS fragrances. I mean, I know they're really popular9:34
  17. @drdrayzday reviewing Pro Silk 24hr Moisturizing Body Lotion at 02:36 in a YouTube Shorts video
Body Daily Moisturizing Lotionshade · Creamy Cashmere
    • They still have the creamy cashmere2:36
    • I don't like EOS fragrances. I mean, I know they're really popular
  18. @drdrayzday reviewing Skinimalism Cooling Overnight Renewal Cream at 09:52 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • A cooling overnight renewal gel with retinol. Ooh, this looks interesting9:47
    • You don't have to be in menopause to benefit from something like this9:52
    • This has menthol in it, which will tingle and help distract the little nerves that produce itch, but also can be irritating9:57
    • If you have rosacea, I'd be really careful with this. Like someone with rosacea might use this and get a lot of irritation, burning, and stinging and be like, 'Ooh, I can't use retinol.' I'd be more than willing to bet it's actually the menthol because retinol takes a while to irritate your skin10:04
  19. @drdrayzday reviewing Spathecary Pineapple Glow Body Scrub at 10:53 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • I'm not really one to use body scrubs, although as I point out, they can be helpful for keratosis pilaris provided you're not too aggressive with it10:42
    • Like you don't scrub really hard and you don't follow it up with multiple other exfoliants, chemical/mechanical10:53
    • And with KP it's like a delicate balance between gently exfoliating that dry rough stuff that's getting in the way of better moisture retention and overdoing it to the point where now you're losing even more water and exacerbating the KP11:06
  20. @drdrayzday reviewing Amber Glow Apple Orchard Moisturizing Hand & Body Lotion at 11:25 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • I'd be lying if I said I was not intrigued by an apple-scented hand and body lotion. That sounds delicious11:21
    • Glycerin, uh you know, provided you're not allergic to fragrance, I'd intrigued by that11:25
  21. @drdrayzday reviewing Global Beauty Care Geranium & Rose Facial Hydrator with White Tea at 11:42 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • GBC knows that people like rosewater spray, so they have that here. Some people find them soothing, but a lot of what people claim about them is largely anecdotal11:32
    • This has fragrance, so again, if you're allergic, guess where it'll show up first? Eyelids11:42
    • As you spray this on the face, it'll land on your eyelids and get sucked up close to delicate eyelid skin when you blink, the accordion-like contraction of the eye muscles. And you probably get eyelid dermatitis wouldn't surprise me11:50
  22. @drdrayzday reviewing Softsoap Hand Soap at 12:07 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • You will not be in bad hands with Softsoap this cold and flu season12:07
    • Not disappointing. Not disappointing
