Tarte is a brand that gets brought up for two very different things: a color corrector that actually hydrates and a concealer that some people swear by and others find unwearable. The Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector is the real standout — it's thick and tacky but doesn't dry out the under-eye, and it cancels dark circles without settling into lines, though you'll usually need concealer on top. On the other hand, the Shape Tape concealer splits opinion hard: some call it the best ever, others find it revolting and claggy, so it's very much a try-before-you-buy situation.
