  1. @amandaz reviewing numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence at 02:03 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This definitely has more of that natural matte finish1:49
    • It has this lovely fluid texture to it. It has a great spreadability. There is zero white cast2:03
    • This one just feels like a very, very lightweight kind of serum lotion2:21
    • I personally think that this is one of the top picks of the entire video, especially for people that give me feedback that they really do not like a very glowy finish to their sunscreen2:28
    • Incredibly lightweight, no fragrance like I mentioned, so this is a top pick for you guys2:59
    • My first award for oily skin goes to the Numbuzin Clear Filter Sun Essence SPF 50. I like it because it's very lightweight. It is fragrance-free. And it's very layerable
    • It's not astringent. It doesn't feel so mattifying that it kind of leaves your skin with like a film on it. It's just really good slightly mattifying sunscreen37:09
  2. @amandaz reviewing Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh: Rice + B5 SPF50+ at 04:05 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • To me, it almost feels similar to like a lightweight water cream3:35
    • This feels like the more oily skin-friendly version of this4:05
    • The Aqua Fresh is just a more lightweight version of it, wears beautifully under makeup, and it's not necessarily mattifying, but it isn't a very glowy glowy heavy dewy finish4:31
    • They did however add butyloctyl salicylate into the Aqua Fresh formula, which is a bummer because that sometimes again can be irritating for some people4:42
  3. @amandaz reviewing House of HUR Weightless Sun Fluid SPF 50+ at 05:33 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This has manuka honey extract. It is a beautiful beautiful thin texture, definitely one of the thinnest of the entire video, but it also doesn't have alcohol, which some sunscreens rely on denatured alcohol to get a more beautified kind of thin on the skin finish5:09
    • If you live in a very hot and humid climate, I think that this could be a really good option for some of you5:33
    • However, in my personal experience, this burns my eyes. If you have very very sensitive eyes, I don't think that this is the one for you5:45
  4. @amandaz reviewing Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Sunscreen at 06:48 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is that very velvety lotion texture. It almost feels like a velvety primer going on the skin without it being like a weird silicone kind of feel6:35
    • If you've always wanted your primer for your makeup to kind of double as your sunscreen, this is an incredible incredible option6:48
    • Slightly thicker than some of the other options we're talking about, and yet I still think that it is one of the best for oily skin6:58
    • I personally love that it is fragrance-free. It's just going to look really nice under your makeup for those of you with more oily skin. It's not going to shine through and break up7:08
    • I would say for oily skin, Haruharu Wonder is my top recommendation14:09
  5. @amandaz reviewing Isehan Kiss Me Mommy UV Aqua Milk SPF 50+ Pa++++ at 08:05 in a YouTube Shorts video
    Isehan$14.90
    • This is hands down my holy grail sunscreen7:45
    • It's actually perfection and I'm going to tell you why8:05
    • It has that lightweight kind of gel lotion texture. It does sink down to the skin. It will leave, I would say, a satin finish8:30
    • Never stings my eyes, never burns my eyes9:00
    • You just forget that you have it on and that is what makes good sunscreen. You trust it completely. You're never worried about stinging of the eyes. You're never worrying about it pilling up on your skin. It is absolutely iconic9:19
    • Alcohol-free, mineral oil-free, and it's meant for sensitive skin
    • It is the best sunscreen hands down I've ever used in my life
    • It is a perfect product. Anything you really ask out of a sunscreen it has. So, there is no white cast, it is water resistant, it is lightweight, but hydrating, it never pills under makeup, it is fragrance free, it is alcohol free
    • It is a sunscreen that you forget that you even had put on sunscreen that day. And that is what makes for good sunscreen. I love it, love it so, so much9:22
  6. @amandaz reviewing Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel SPF 50 at 10:12 in a YouTube Shorts video
    Isntree$18.99
    • This is such a classic because the texture is one of the lightest-weight10:10
    • If you love a glowy look to your sunscreen, but you do not want anything greasy, this is perfection10:12
    • To me, it just leaves my skin with that refreshed, glowy, drink of water kind of effect10:22
    • Not going to pill up, it's not going to be really oily and heavy, and kind of sloppy on the skin. It's not a sloppy product10:28
    • No burning or stinging of the eyes, no fragrance10:36
    • For me, it usually doubles as like a moisturizer kind of product for me. And I just love that it's very fuss-free under makeup. That's why I've repurchased this one so many times10:40
    • As far as Korean sunscreens that I've used the longest and love the longest, this is my favorite10:52
  7. @amandaz reviewing Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun at 11:40 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Think of this as a richer rice moisturizer with sunscreen11:24
    • I wish I could give this sunscreen to really any person over the age of like 40 with mature skin that is trying to find a sunscreen that is gentle, that is not going to irritate your skin, but also is going to bring some actual moisture11:40
    • My skin is feeling more dry in the wintertime especially. This is very comforting. It just feels really good going on11:56
    • If I'm having a really fast morning, like I don't even really want to wash my face, put some of this on and my skin remains hydrated. It really does stabilize dry skin types12:07
    • This one is worth the hype
    • The Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun, the OG, is hydrating. It is nourishing, but it will not sting the eyes. There's no weird fragrance. It is incredibly gentle, nourishing, and it will not pill up on the skin and look really awkward
    • Truly, if you have dry, dry skin and you were looking for my favorite Asian sunscreen for dry skin, it is this one. I just think that is absolutely excellent
    • I think there are a lot of over hyped sunscreens in general and this is one that I still believe is absolutely worth every bit of hype38:28
  8. @amandaz reviewing Tage Cica-Tree Water Jelly Sun Serum at 14:38 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is a very, very new sunscreen, and it is very, very excellent14:33
    • It is truly like that slushy gel kind of texture that we've been seeing more brands come out with14:38
    • It is literally completely clear. Completely clear. You're not going to have any white cast15:20
    • It sets down to a very natural finish. And just glides on the skin15:29
    • This is not going to pill up. It's not going to look really awkward and chunky on the skin. Very light and kind of serum-like. No fragrance15:44
    • They do mention that it is specifically designed for those of you with breakouts15:55
  9. @amandaz reviewing Kao Biore UV Kids Pure Milk SPF 50+ at 16:50 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is SPF 50, which I really like. Want truly absolutely no chemical filters, this does not have any16:16
    • The reason I love this one is it's an incredibly thin texture. It goes on so quickly and it spreads so quickly that you're going to be able to get that sunscreen on as quickly as possible16:50
    • It does have a hydration to it that, you know, some people misinterpret mineral sunscreens as always being really greasy17:02
    • Texturally, I just think it's really fantastic
    • It will be a little bit more glowy16:36
    • It's not going to be really mattifying, astringent, and kind of feel chalky on the skin. So, I think that makes this a winner17:48
    • Especially nice for around the eyes if you're just looking for a mineral sunscreen around the eyes17:56
    • This is very fluid, it is thin, it is blendable, it is more on the dewy side, but it is very spreadable and easy to work with. It is not a pasty mineral sunscreen and it never irritates the eyes30:23
  10. @amandaz reviewing Shiseido Anessa Mineral UV Sunscreen Mild Gel SPF 35 at 18:16 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is actually marketed as being good for post-procedure skin18:11
    • Probably on the thicker side compared to some of the other products we're talking about18:16
    • You can get it there, and it doesn't feel absolutely sticky. It doesn't feel chalky. It doesn't feel heavy. In fact, the finish is more on the natural side, but it's going to take you a while to get there, guys18:27
    • If you have dark eyebrows like me, watch out for the eyebrows, cuz your eyebrows are going to turn purple18:42
    • It doesn't have a lot of alcohol in it. It has no fragrance. It's just kind of a really good for gentle, sensitive skin kind of product18:47
    • If you lean oily, and you want a mineral sunscreen, go with the Anessa18:59
    • This is only SPF 35. So, that is I do take it down a notch because of that, but I don't think it's a bad one19:08
  11. @amandaz reviewing beplain Sunmuse Mineral Sunscreen at 19:46 in a YouTube Shorts video
    beplain$19.66
    • This is SPF 50 and it is matte. It is very matte and it is a little too drying for me19:31
    • The texture I actually find to be more pleasant than the Innisfree, but unfortunately, in the process, it goes very, very matte
    • Smells incredibly, incredibly like sunscreen19:46
    • This absolutely burnt the crap out of my eyes. I do not recommend it20:09
    • This is a no from me
  12. @amandaz reviewing OMI Verdio UV Moisture Gel N SPF 50+ Pa++++ at 20:43 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is waterproof, which is really important for the body, and it's SPF 5020:39
    • My boyfriend loves this for the face as well. He has more oily skin, but here's the thing. This pills up on my face. I have more dry skin. Dry skin is more prone to peeling20:43
    • It is one of the best deals of the entire video21:09
    • I can see some of you with oily skin really getting along well with it21:17
  13. @amandaz reviewing Rohto Mentholatum Skin Aqua Super Moisture UV Gel SPF 50+ at 22:09 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This texture is the most fluid kind of gel cream. It is not a glowy product by any means. It will kind down to more of a soft, natural finish21:56
    • This does have alcohol in it, which I don't love alcohol in my sunscreen, but I haven't found this to be drying whatsoever22:09
    • I can like literally put on sunscreen on my face and body in maybe 30 seconds. Feels so weightless without it being really, really dry. And it is waterproof, non-pilling, non-greasy
    • The Super Moisture UV Gel is such an excellent excellent product. I really highly recommend this one in particular22:59
    • It is one of those products that kind of makes it impossible to have an excuse for not applying your sunscreen. This is an absolutely fantastic one23:09
    • Does not burn my eyes at all. So, I wear it face and body
    • The fact that this is water resistant, it is SPF 50 that feels like water. It really feels like a serum. It doesn't have a sticky residue on the body and it applies so fast. It really makes for sunscreen that is just a pleasure to apply and really easy38:53
    • It is affordable, it is stunning, and the bonus part is is that if you just put this by the door, it's great for the body, but I also love it for the face, which is kind of unheard of again for a sunscreen like this. So, I'm a huge fan39:42
  14. @amandaz reviewing Rohto Mentholatum Skin Aqua Super Moisture Barrier UV Essence SPF 50+ at 23:44 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is like what I always wished that product to be. So, if you're a fan of that one, I highly recommend checking this one out. I'm actually really really glad that I tried it, too23:33
    • This is just a slightly thicker texture than the UV Gel23:44
    • I think personally this isn't the top pick of the video, but I have a feeling that those of you with more combination skin would enjoy the texture of this23:59
  15. @amandaz reviewing Rohto Mentholatum Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel SPF 50+ at 24:28 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is wildly fragrant. I don't understand why they did that. Oh my god, my eyes immediately started burning24:20
    • This is probably one of the most fragrant products in the entire video, if not the most24:28
    • This one is a no. I don't think that anyone should be putting this much fragrance on their face24:47
  16. @amandaz reviewing OMI Sun Bears Active Protect Cool Sunscreen SPF 50+ at 26:03 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is essentially a menthol sunscreen that is very matte but cooling on the skin when you apply it25:59
    • Because this is so small, because it's very cooling, it's very thin, it's fluid, again, it's not really greasy or crazy oily on the skin, I just thought that this could be a really good throw-it-in-your-purse product when you know that your body needs to be cooled down but you also need to protect it26:03
    • I do think that on very dark skin it would have a cast to it26:31
    • It is also quite water-resistant. This is really meant for, you know, activity26:37
  17. @amandaz reviewing SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica Soothing Sun Milk at 27:38 in a YouTube Shorts video
    SKIN1004$18.00
    • Both of these are just good classic middle-of-the-road formulas27:01
    • I find it to be such a crowd-pleaser because it is such that neutral kind of finish27:38
    • I think that this one is slightly more geared towards more normal skin, not quite as oily, but I do see some of you with oily skin also getting along with it27:46
    • This is my second bottle, which is why this one isn't opened yet. It is that more fluid, thin kind of lotion texture, but it is just as thin and elegant to wear27:57
  18. @amandaz reviewing SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum at 28:44 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Both of these are just good classic middle-of-the-road formulas28:44
    • When I mentioned that there was another sunscreen that I feel like would be really good for oily skin, but would probably be good for dry skin, too. Just it's just an all-around good product. It is definitely this sunscreen
    • Nothing really bad to say about it
    • I don't find this to be mattifying, but I find it to be such a crowd-pleaser because it is such that neutral kind of finish
  19. @amandaz reviewing Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen at 29:26 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This one I think is great. It has a really plush texture. It applies beautifully. Does not sting my eyes. There's no fragrance25:50
    • It is formulation-wise incredibly similar to the Beauty of Joseon. I find them to be pretty much interchangeable as far as like the texture and the finish. So, slightly more glowy on this one29:26
    • The only big difference is that this just smells a little more like sunscreen though29:37
    • I'm going to be reaching for the Beauty of Joseon before I reach for the Round Lab. Nothing necessarily wrong with it. It doesn't burn my eyes or irritate my skin or anything, but I do think that the Beauty of Joseon does edge it out29:53
  20. @amandaz reviewing IUNIK Beta-Glucan Barrier Sunscreen at 30:50 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • It really has a smoothness and a silkiness that isn't necessarily really heavy with silicone or anything like that, and the finish is also quite middle of the road30:35
    • All in all, I think that this is a really good one
    • I like that it has beta-glucan, so if you deal with dehydration issues, I think this could be a really good one30:50
    • It isn't quite at the level yet as like some of my top-tier picks, but I think it's one to watch31:28
  21. @amandaz reviewing Isehan Kiss Me Mommy UV Mild Gel SPF 33 PA+++ at 32:03 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • The UV Mild Gel is thinner. It applies really evenly and easily. I don't really have many complaints about the UV Mild Gel31:52
    • Why get this when you could get this one? This is just as hydrating, just as easy to work with. It is SPF 33. They're about the same price. So, for me, it is again, this is a good one, but I'm trying to lean towards sunscreens with about an SPF 50. So, I would just continue to go for the Kiss Me Mommy32:03
  22. @amandaz reviewing mixsoon Bean Sun Serum SPF 50 at 33:10 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • They added coconut oil in here, which I find kind of strange. I feel like more and more brands as of late have been adding coconut oil to their products. It's not a complete deal breaker, but as someone that is acne prone, it isn't like my first pick32:43
    • It's a slightly thicker version of that. Like it really has this lovely velvety slip and spread that's really, really pleasant33:10
    • I also noticed a bit of stinging with this as well. And it just smells even more of sunscreen33:21
    • It's kind of at the threshold where I don't think it's good enough to have have me recommend it33:29
    • Did feel like my skin didn't really enjoy having it on. Like there was a little bit of a tingle that would sometimes happen. So, whenever that happens, usually I'm like, 'Okay, that's a no.' So, I wouldn't go with the Mixsoon either, unfortunately33:38
    • Occasionally I did feel like it kind of pilled a little bit as well33:52
  23. @amandaz reviewing ETUDE Soon Jung Directors Moisture Sun Cream at 35:56 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This one was also kind of pilling a little bit. It's quite a thick sunscreen. It does feel a little outdated for whatever reason to me. It's just not my favorite35:43
    • It was one of those sunscreens that again, I like put it on and I can just feel the sunscreen35:56
  24. @amandaz reviewing P.Calm Water Barrier Sun Cream at 34:57 in a YouTube Shorts video
    P.Calm$16.00
    • For whatever reason, I find that the sunscreens that are meant to be the most absolute gentle Korean sunscreens in specific, irritate the heck out of my eyes34:10
    • The scent is just potently sunscreene, my eyes start burning like you guys would not believe. So, this is a no for me34:57
  25. @amandaz reviewing TOCOBO Bio Watery Sun Cream at 36:34 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Both of those formulas are so, so incredibly similar36:34
