  1. @simonenicole reviewing UNbrush Unbrush (mini) at 01:33 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • I don't like this for my curly hair. I feel like it snatches my hair out, but on my dry hair, girl, please1:24
    • Especially like when my hair is blown out, straightened, anything like that, it glides through my hair super duper well1:33
    • The Unbrush, for me, lives up to the hype. I would absolutely recommend it26:55
    • With that being said, the brush is really very good27:05
  2. @simonenicole reviewing Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil at 02:39 in a YouTube Shorts video
    Mielle$12.99
    • I had used it before it like really got internet famous and I thought it was fine. I didn't think that it was a miracle worker on my hair personally, but it also didn't make my hair fall out2:11
    • I just don't find that oils like really do it for me in the way that other girls talk about it doing it for them2:39
    • The Mielle Rosemary oil, I would put this in good, but not essential because it is a good product, like I said, like I enjoy using it, but because I can't speak to its effectiveness, it's like you could go with it, you could go without26:11
  3. @simonenicole reviewing Epres Bond Repair Treatment at 06:22 in a YouTube Shorts video
    Epres$34.00
    • What attracted me to this product is the ease of use and how I can just use my little spray bottle, wet my hair down, and then get in the shower6:12
    • It also allows me to detangle really well before I get in the shower because I like to twist up each section6:22
    • This is only my second time using this, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of it. But, what I will say is that I do enjoy using it. It's very user-friendly6:50
    • The Epres bond repair treatment, the jury is still out on her, so we're going to go good, but not essential26:26
    • I really do enjoy the process of application, the ease of application, but it is $50, okay?26:40
  4. @simonenicole reviewing Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo at 08:30 in a YouTube Shorts video
    Olaplex$32.99
    • What I love about this shampoo is that I can get a very clean feeling without my hair feeling stripped, my scalp feeling clean and refreshed is absolutely priority and the number four shampoo is going to deliver every time8:00
    • Olaplex will strengthen your hair to help prevent the damage before it ever even happens8:30
    • The Olaplex shampoo and conditioner lives up to the hype. I have been using it for years27:18
    • The only reason it's not making it to worth every penny is because it is a pretty penny27:22
    • I don't think I've tried a single Olaplex product that I didn't thoroughly enjoy27:33
  5. @simonenicole reviewing Olaplex No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner at 08:55 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • Between both of these, my hair is feeling so soft, so healthy, and I love the fact that they are color safe, protein-free because the girls often conflate bond maintenance with protein and those two are not mutually exclusive, mama8:37
    • It's so concentrated that a little really does go a long way, which me and my curls absolutely love8:55
    • The Olaplex shampoo and conditioner lives up to the hype. I have been using it for years27:18
    • The only reason it's not making it to worth every penny is because it is a pretty penny27:22
  6. @simonenicole reviewing Tangle Teezer Detangling Brush at 09:23 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • This is the best detangling brush that I have ever used, I fear9:18
    • Like I said earlier, the Unbrush is great for when my hair is straightened, but this glides through my hair when it's wet9:23
    • The Tangle Teezer, worth every penny. Worth every penny. I absolutely love that brush27:09
    • Y'all saw the way it was slipping and sliding through that hair. Needs no further explanation27:15
  7. @simonenicole reviewing Cécred Reconstructing Treatment Mask at 10:04 in a YouTube Shorts video
    Cécred$36.00
    • She was telling me that this treatment mask also helps to protect your hair from heat once it's rinsed out to help prevent damage due to heat styling9:49
    • This was one of the products that I used when I went into emergency mode to try to get my curls back, and it worked beautifully10:04
    • The sacred reconstructing treatment mask, I would absolutely say lives up to the hype9:38
    • It's a heavy hitter. It is very good. It's expensive, but I truly believe that if you buy it, you will definitely get your money's worth out of it27:53
  8. @simonenicole reviewing Queen Helene Cholesterol Deep Conditioner at 28:10 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • I'm using this today because my friend Kimberly Sherrell has kind of been doing her own version of the Abby Young method, and she's adopted it specifically for type 4 hair because she is of the belief that type 4 hair and just like black hair in general really needs cholesterol and lipids in order to thrive10:24
    • It's only $8
    • I did have to re-rinse my hair to really, you know, feel like it was coming off my hair, but I will say my hair is so, so soft. Like, woah28:10
    • I know for a fact I'm going to have to clarify the next time I wash my hair because that product is not a product that like slides off of the hair shaft very easily28:13
    • The Cholesterol deep conditioner, I am going to for right now say good, but not essential only because that was my first time using it
  9. @simonenicole reviewing Rogaine 5% Minoxidil Foam at 16:14 in a YouTube Shorts video
    Rogaine$29.99
    • My edges have grown back in, like period, point, blank15:59
    • I can directly speak to the results of the Rogaine and I can tell y'all it works, like 100%16:14
    • Minoxidil, worth every penny. I owe my grown back edges to it. The hair is just flourishing, you know? So, worth every penny29:03
  10. @simonenicole reviewing amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Leave-In Conditioner at 17:18 in a YouTube Shorts video
    amika$31.00
    • When I say this is my ride or die16:50
    • I have to give it up to Amika. Like they are such a surprising brand that has come through and really delivers results and lets the girls know that they are here for the girls with curls and I love that17:18
    • The Amika Hydro Rush leave-in, worth every penny. I pulled this little bad boy out whether I am straightening my hair, wearing it curly, prepping it for braids, whatever the case, Miss Mama's is on the scene
    • If you want to try anything Amika, truly I do not think that you'll be disappointed29:23
  11. @simonenicole reviewing Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil at 18:12 in a YouTube Shorts video
    • The oil not only gives like a nice shine to the hair, but it also serves as a heat protectant up to 450°, if I'm not mistaken18:01
    • I thought why not throw that in there because it is a double duty product18:12
    • I think lives up to the hype for sure. I have been through an entire one of these bottles and seeing all the products that I own, like that's a feat
    • I think it's a great multi-use product31:16
  12. @simonenicole reviewing Revair Reverse-Air Dryer at 19:28 in a YouTube Shorts video
    RevAir$459.00
    • It sucks it into this here nozzle and it does not heat past I want to say 270° and your hair burns at 425. So, it's well below what it would take for your hair to actually get heat damage because the whole philosophy behind RevAir is that they care first and foremost about hair health18:44
    • It also cuts down your drying time19:28
    • Hair is looking great, feeling good20:28
    • The biggest downfall to this machine is the price of it because I'm pretty sure it's around three or four hundred dollars at this point and how bulky it is29:32
    • The actual technology behind it is nuts, I fear. The hair health benefits, how silky and smooth and shiny my hair looked, the results are undeniable29:40
    • However, I could have traditionally blow-dried my hair quicker, but the RevAir definitely causes less damage for sure29:50
    • I am going to go lives up to the hype29:29
  13. @simonenicole reviewing The Doux Crazy Sexy Curl Honey Setting Foam at 23:28 in a YouTube Shorts video
    The Doux$14.99
    • That mousse definitely did it. I will say that23:22
    • No, I think I'm going to really like this holds one. Wow23:28
    • The Doux Crazy Sexy Curl. I like her. I would say good but not essential
    • The Doux in general as a line makes really good products. I'm going to bump it up to lives up to the hype simply because it's black-owned. And they do make really good products in general30:17
