Westman AtelierSun Tone Hydrating Matte Bronzing Drops
Those give the most beautiful, natural, moisturized look to the skin without being greasy.▶ 6:06–6:14
Everything is so greasy. Like it just slides off my face.▶ 5:03–5:10
I don't like greasy, but I do like hydrating.▶ 5:07–5:14
You can't build them up because if you do build them up, it is just so shiny on your face.▶ 5:16–5:23
It settles into every little fine line that I have around my eyes.▶ 3:25–3:32
Perhaps it's too thick. Maybe I'm using too much. I think maybe it's just too emollient. Like it doesn't set.▶ 3:32–3:36
I just can't get on with it.
I don't even want to finish the tube that I have.▶ 4:11–4:16
I feel like this is lightweight.▶ 4:34–4:38
It has some really good skin care ingredients in it.▶ 4:36–4:41
I think it's brightening.▶ 4:38–4:42
It's the kind of formulation that gives good pigmentation to cover up my dark circles, but in a very lightweight type of way that doesn't settle into my fine lines.▶ 4:41–4:45
My under eyes are incredibly hydrated.
I would go for the Gucci highlighters because these have like a really cool kind of gel to powder type of consistency. They are incredibly smooth. They're actually sort of like squishy in the pan. It's a really unique formula.▶ 34:27–34:35
You get that like intense illumination, but it is very, very smooth. It's like almost a wet look type of effect.▶ 34:46–34:52
It is so, so gorgeous.
Yves Saint LaurentAll Hours Hyper Luminize Highlighter
I hated this product.▶ 34:02–34:04
They're chunky, they're glittery. It's way too much. It is not what I would expect from a luxury product.▶ 33:39–33:43
It highlights texture, it highlights pores.▶ 33:59–34:05
I really did not care for this product.
This made my skin so dry.▶ 28:04–28:09
It emphasized all my texture.
I didn't feel like it blurred my skin. It just added a lot of dryness.▶ 28:18–28:28
It just didn't work out for me.▶ 28:36–28:42
Oh my goodness, it is worth it. This is the best pressed powder I have ever tried.▶ 28:56–29:01
Nothing comes close to the Sisley. Nothing comes close.▶ 29:08–29:14
This is a baked gelée formula. So it's incredibly lightweight, looks really smooth on the skin and it's not a drying formula.▶ 29:10–29:21
The Sisley Blur Expert is just chef's kiss, Sophia approved.▶ 29:52–29:58
They got to be crazy charging us $42 for this dollar store limited to RIP cheap packaging.▶ 11:19–11:27
This stuff feels so flimsy.▶ 11:23–11:28
It also feels like there's barely any product inside the tube.▶ 11:27–11:33
The product that is inside the tube isn't bad. It's kind of like a nice buttery moisturizing lip product. It's a lip balm, a glossy lip balm. But, it's nothing special.▶ 11:31–11:36
It's not particularly lux-worthy at all.
What are we paying $42 for? I mean, I guess it's the little charm.▶ 11:50–11:58
The lip oils oh my gosh. They stink. They smell so bad. They smell awful and like vegetal cuz they have some sort of like pepper note in there. So it literally smells like a jalapeno or like a green pepper.▶ 21:17–21:28
It is just absolutely abhorrent to me.▶ 21:48–21:52
These look beautiful on the lips and a lot of the shades are really good as well.▶ 21:52–21:58
They also burn the lips.▶ 22:11–22:14
I love the Guerlain lip oils. They are so like thick and luscious and juicy and moisturizing.▶ 22:24–22:34
Those are top shelf, Sophia approved, like holy grail. They are so so good.▶ 22:40–22:49
I would check out the ones from RMS Beauty.
The ones from Merit Beauty cuz those are the two that I really like if I'm going for a beautiful red or like a nice shimmery brown.▶ 22:59–23:06
For a much cheaper price, for $23 and more product, and a way better formula.▶ 12:38–12:45
These have the most luscious.▶ 12:56–13:00
These are a community favorite here.▶ 13:00–13:07
They have the most moisturizing, luscious look and feel. They're almost gooey but without being sticky. They're so good.▶ 13:07–13:15
I love the scents, especially the Cocoa Crème.▶ 13:17–13:21
One of my favorite releases of the year.▶ 32:00–32:04
The shades are like creamy and look smooth and luxurious on the eyelids.▶ 32:20–32:26
I'm always going to go to that palette before I go to these sticks.▶ 32:26–32:30
These palettes were so dry. They were so dry and dusty. They just didn't have the pigmentation that I wanted.▶ 8:15–8:25
Honestly felt like a product from like years ago.▶ 8:25–8:30
This just seemed like something that I would find maybe at the drugstore.▶ 8:42–8:49
The finishes were not elegant. The shimmer shades were just kind of like chunky and patchy.▶ 8:49–8:55
Love you, Hourglass. Hate these eyeshadow palettes.▶ 9:16–9:19
I didn't like the first palette. I didn't like the second palette. Why did I buy the third palette?▶ 14:43–14:50
I didn't think it would be possible for this one to be worse than the other two, but unfortunately it is.▶ 14:50–14:58
The mattes, I would say are somewhat similar to the other palettes. They are not my favorite formula. They are really really overly powdery.▶ 15:36–15:43
The resulting effect sometimes, if you're not careful, is very patchy on the eyes.▶ 15:50–15:55
I found those shades, those shimmers to be quite dry and also very irritating to my eyes.▶ 16:10–16:18
The shimmer shades are just like so dry. They're so dry and dusty.▶ 16:45–16:50
I actually returned this palette.
The formula of these is exceptional. It's much more professional, definitely pigmented, definitely like high shine, high metallic, buildable.▶ 25:42–25:47
The Dior Backstage palettes, they often do sort of like monochromatic color stories as well. Some of them are permanent, some of them are seasonal, but if you want something that's a little bit more of like that softer character, then I would recommend those over the Charlotte Tilbury.▶ 26:10–26:15
This is the type of creamy, pigmented, luxurious type of formula that I think is actually worth the money.▶ 9:53–10:02
I think the Toffee shade is beautiful.▶ 10:07–10:13
The ones from Sisley are at the top of my list.▶ 10:16–10:22
I don't think that they belong on the top shelf.▶ 23:56–24:01
I think that the packaging is like super cheap and drugstore feeling for the price.▶ 24:17–24:27
I find that the formula is just so glittery in a very very chunky type of way, not in a smooth finely milled way.▶ 24:27–24:33
I just found these to create so much fallout.▶ 24:48–24:53
They emphasize so much texture on the eyes.
The formula just wasn't there for me.▶ 25:10–25:14
Beautiful neutral shades with some pops of olive and kind of like olivey gold. Very on trend for this year going into 2026.▶ 10:33–10:39
The color story is very similar to the Makeup by Mario. It's kind of like neutral, maybe slightly cool-toned palette with pops of olive green. There's some beautiful bright golds in there.▶ 17:42–17:47
A much better professional, like actual makeup artist formula.▶ 18:07–18:14
This mascara is so thick and dry. It is like spreading tar across my eyelashes.▶ 1:36–1:43
It is, no doubt, one of the worst mascaras that I have tried in a very, very long time.▶ 1:43–1:49
I don't like anything about this, except maybe the packaging.▶ 1:57–2:03
This is literally like the driest, worst mascara that I have ever tried.▶ 2:08–2:13
The Chantecaille mascara does a great job at that as well, although that is a little bit pricier.▶ 20:38–20:44
If you want something that's more luxury, I would go with the Chantecaille instead.▶ 20:44–20:48
I think the Tower 28 Beauty mascara is really good if you want something that gives length and like long natural flutteriness.▶ 20:31–20:38
I would recommend the Kosas Cloud mascara. That is what I'm wearing on my lashes today.▶ 2:34–2:38
I discovered this mascara this year, and it has become a new everyday favorite.▶ 2:38–2:46
I love the look of this.▶ 2:43–2:46
Kosas tends to be a bit more affordable than Sara Happ▶ 2:46–2:53
These were such a disappointment to me.▶ 30:08–30:14
They don't look good on my eyes. They highlight every bit of texture, crepiness on my eyes.▶ 31:20–31:26
When they dry down, it just sort of like makes my eyelids kind of like crinkle in a way and it just looks dry.▶ 31:34–31:41
The actual formulas are just like way too dry and glittery for me.▶ 31:51–32:00
Gives beautiful illumination to the face. It's not greasy. Still very moisturizing. Doesn't irritate my face, and I feel like I can really like pump that baby out and slather it on to get that sun protection that I need.▶ 6:23–6:30
Sarah CrealBrilliant Repair Shield Illuminating Broad Spectrum Face Mineral Sunscreen Serum SPF 50
It's like the tiniest little bottle. It is so expensive.▶ 5:23–5:29
I don't want to feel like I have to like ration my sunscreen because it was so expensive.▶ 5:34–5:41
This isn't a bad product, but I certainly think it's one of the most overhyped and gimmicky products of 2025.▶ 18:16–18:22
I think the formula is pretty good as well. Like it's long-lasting on my lashes.▶ 19:00–19:04
I find the wand to be kind of finicky to use.
It takes me way too long to like sit there with the little brush and like get it perfectly even. It's just time that I don't have.▶ 19:46–19:54
I literally have not reached for this mascara since I first tested it.▶ 19:58–20:02
It also is like impossible to do the bottom lashes.▶ 20:12–20:16
You can also just buy one of the Color Fix pigments and you have a little bit more control. You can apply that with a brush. You can get one of the shimmery ones and just add like a little touch to the center of the eye. To me, that's a lot easier than using the sticks.▶ 32:30–32:37
