3.5SOS FaceGuard SPF 30
  • “This is a tinted lotion that glides over the skin and rubs in super easily”
  • “The tint, I would say, doesn't really give any coverage. It's not super heavily pigmented. So, it looks very natural on the skin. The tint is mainly there to just hide any white cast, which it does very effectively”25:00–25:12
  • “This feels very much like skin care going on, and it just looks like your skin”
  • “The foundation goes on over it really nicely, just like it normally would”25:24–25:36
  • “At the 8-hour check-in, I thought it was very worn off on my nose, my chin, my cheeks, above my eyebrows, was shiny in my T-zone. It was giving me speckly polka dot pores on my cheeks and on my chin. So, this definitely shortens the wear of foundation”25:53–26:06
  • “It didn't feel drying to wear throughout the day”26:12–26:16
  • “As a standalone sunscreen, I would give this one a four out of five. As a sunscreen to wear under makeup, I'm going to give it a three out of five”26:19–26:25
  • Source: I tried $500 worth of new mineral sunscreens - May 15, 2026
Brand note

Tower 28 is a sensitive-skin brand built around hypochlorous acid, with the SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray as its anchor. Creators consistently call it soothing for eczema, rosacea, and acne, but several note the spray nozzle is harsh and the price is steep for what it is. The concealer also gets strong marks for being hydrating and natural-looking on dry under-eyes, though it can crease like any concealer.
